Journal Entry 1.

1. How is the research going?

Our reasearch is going very well. we have nearly completed all our resaerch.we have split the reasearch up, but till now no one has handed thier research in.

2. What do you know about imovie? What other multimedia possibilities have you considered for your presentation?

Imovie is like a program that helps yiu edit and make movies. we have thought of doing a movie with like slides and picyures music in it, make a website or a powerpoint.

Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.

4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’.because he had a knif in his had and was suspected to ruining a car. Journal Entry 5.

1.) Which countries have banned the Internet?2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings)

3.) Provide evidence of at least FIVE sources (Websites, newspapers, blogs, videos ect) that discuss the reasons why these countries have taken such a drastic approach.4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs)

1) Burma and China2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings)2) The image contains a Chinese flag with a religious man in the background with the sign “banned” and “you-tube” going across it. So it is telling us that some countries find Internet bad/ useless and that why they have banned for it being used in there country how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose?

3)If the Australian government banned the use of Internet it would be hard getting the knowledge our everyday life will become hard and boring, were people will be going to the local library 7 days a week trying to get  information. Children’s education is going to get much harder it would be hard completing our daily projects.

There are a few ways that we can adver tise our final product:

EDITOR-

  • editor program: (computer science) a program designed to perform such editorial functions as rearrangement or modification or deletion of data
  • REPORTER-A reporter is a type of journalist who researches and presents information in certain types of mass media

    JOURNALIST-

  • a writer for newspapers and magazines
  • diarist: someone who keeps a diary or journal
  • DESIGNER-One who designs houses, interiors, landscaping or other objects. When used it the context of residential construction it usually suggests that a designer is not a licensed architect. Most jurisdictions don’t require an architectural license for most single family construction.

    1.) Explain the difference between ’secular’ and ‘non-secular’.

    Secular means something that is no religious meaning, e.g. if you are eating or drinking, it is considered secular because it has nothing to do with religion. Non-secular is the opposite, where doing something that has a religious intention. E.g. Attending church is non secular because it is religious.

Inside this forest are sixty rare or more threatened species, we are worried what this fire can do”

    1.) Describe the Australian Governments NetAlert program?

    NetAlert is the Australian Government’s internet safety initiative which consists of a wide range of activities. Together, these activities provide a comprehensive response to the needs of the Australian community in protecting their families online.The NetAlert – Protecting Australian Families Online initiative is managed by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy (DBCDE) and includes:

    • the National Filter Scheme to provide every Australian household and public library with access to a free internet content filter to help block unwanted content2.) Discuss the reasons why they have implemented such a program?

    They have implemented this program to protect children and adolecents from the danger on the net.

    Project 1-Evaluation

    SCIENCE PROJECT 1

    EVALUATION.

     1. Would you make any changes/improvements to your project? What?

    3. How can you improve on your presentation skills in next project?

    4. Who in your opinion had good presentation skills? Why?

     ANSWERS

    1. The changes that i would make to  our peroject would be: when i printed it off some of the writting that was in the text box came out when it got printed, so next time i would be care full and do it better, except from that i wouldnt change anything.

    2. I liked George and johns one becauase they made a video about a game show and it was very funny and entertaining.

    3. I would be more prepared and try to talk a bit more than i did, because when we presented we made it up on the spot but inspite that i still think we did pretty well.

    4. I liked our groups presentation i think jake fergo spoke ptretty well he always speaks well because he is not abrupt but continually speaks with confidance and humour.

    No, because it was a very hard task i did not understand it.

    We all were not frendz so we did not like working with each other, becuse we did not cooperate.
